Janine Fleming
(Massage Therapist) has been a massage
therapist since graduating from Baltimore
Holistic Health Center in 1988. She is the
director of Holistic Massage Training
Institute and has studied many modalities
including Acupressure, Craniosacral Therapy,
Reiki, Lymph Drainage, Reflexology,
Pregnancy Massage. She enjoys customizing
the massage to the needs of the client. |

Rudy Chapple
(Massage Therapist) worked for eight years
in the Dept. of Microbiology at the
University of Maryland. In 1973 he started a
career at Johns Hopkins University in the
Department of Pediatric Medicine and the
Kennedy Krieger Institute, where he still
works during the day. He graduated in 1998
from Holistic Massage Training Institute.
Rudy’s practice consists of an eclectic
blend of techniques: Swedish, Deep Tissue,
Reflexology, and Acupressure. Rudy is also a
Reiki Master. |

Dorothy Talbot
(Massage Therapist) graduated from Holistic
Massage
Training
Institute in 1998 and has since been
practicing at Massage at University One.
Originally from Niagara Falls, NY where she
was a meditation teacher of the DMA process
and now a Reiki Master, she brings an
energetic and therapeutic grounding presence
to her table. She continues energy work
trainings with Susan Scurlock-Durana and the
Upledger Institute. She gives an integrative
massage utilizing many modalities, such as
Craniosacral Therapy, Somatoemotional
Release, Swedish to Deep Tissue Massage,
Acupressure, Foot Reflexology and
Aromatherapy, to support her client's
wellness needs. She is also a Young Living
essential oil Distributor and is certified
to administer the Raindrop Oil Technique and
perform ear candling. |

Jason Ryan
(Massage Therapist) has been with Massage at
University One for eight out of his fourteen
years of professional practice. He
trained in Columbus Ohio, and his thorough,
systemic routine is appreciated by those
wanting deeper touch. Along with what
he learned in training, his many trades with
a talented chiropractor and osteopathic
physician have further informed his
stretching regimen. Also available is
the lighter touch lymphatic drainage
treatment. Although not trained in energy
work, his natural healing energy flow can be
felt by clients sensitive to this. |

Tanisia
Smith (Massage Therapist) has been a
student of energy work since 1992. That
healing practice led her to massage therapy.
Tanisia graduated from Port Charlotte School
of Massage Therapy in 2002, and established
a successful practice in Florida. She later
relocated to Maryland, where she attended
Holistic Massage Training Institute,
graduating in 2008. Tanisia has studied
multiple techniques, including Myofascial
therapy and meridian massage, and has
learned multiple spa treatments such as body
wraps, mud therapy, salt scrubs, and sugar
glow exfoliation. She is a Reiki Master in
the Usui tradition, and offers a healing
massage that is an Esalen-influenced blend
of Swedish, deep tissue, and deep
listening/intent. Luxurious hot stone
massage is also available. |

Lolita Smith (Acupuncturist)
Graduated from Oregon College of Oriental
Medicine in 1997 She practices acupuncture,
a treatment well suited to clients
experiencing arthritis, headaches,
hypertension & hypotension, TMJ, neck & back
pain, knee pain, tennis elbow, sciatica,
strokes insomnia, diabetes mellitus,
digestive disorder, or other conditions.
Studying under Master Chen Hui-Xian, Lolita
obtained her Level One Soaring Crane Qi Gong
Instructor Certification, and offers private
or group lessons here at Massage at
University One.
